Benefits Opportunities Interview Tips Submit Resume

Preparatory work

Get to know something of the Company, their line of business relevant to your expertise. You MUST know the name of the person you are reporting to.

Dress Code

On the first day, you MUST go dressed in business formal - this includes a suit, a light colored shirt, tie and formal shoes and socks. Carry a clean ironed handkerchief. Personal hygiene is a MUST!
On the first day, you will learn the dress code in the company and you may follow it from the second day onwards. If the company has a dress-down rule on Fridays, you may dress casually on Fridays.

Here's what you should keep in mind for the first day at work:

1. Be on time. Being on time (or early) is usually interpreted by the interviewer as evidence of your commitment, dependability, and professionalism.

2. Be positive and meet your supervisor and colleagues with a smile.

3. Show your competence by understanding the project and your role in it.
